The spring market continues to bring fresh new inventory to Arlington. Some 71 new listings came on the market this week ranging in price from $190,000 to $3.5 million.

The pace of Arlington’s real estate market slowed this week, perhaps because spring break has lured many people out of town. Some 68 new listings came on the market this week, compared to 75 last week. And only 64 contracts were ratified this week, compared to 83 last week.

Q. I was a little confused after reading your last article. I always thought that having a higher tax value indicated that my home is worth more money. Your article made it sound like having a lower value is of greater value.
