  1. In a class out in Herndon, just had some sideways rain and some very strong winds blow through.

  2. I’m in Herndon next to Dulles Airport and it’s insaneo here. Been coming down in sheets for at least 20 mins.

The toll road is quite flooded and we’re just waiting to see the accident when the driver hits the lake in the middle of the road at 55mph.

  3. Heavy rain in Ballston, strong wind, low visibility out my window. My car is in the garage, missing another chance for a free car wash.

  4. I have a spectacular view out my office window in Rosslyn right up the mall toward all the monuments…Well, ususally I do. Right now you cannot see the river at all because of the rain and the sky is a lovely shade of yellow. Last lightning blast scared the bejezus out of me (didn’t need that bejezus anyway).

  5. I think I just saw a Snakehead heading down Clarendon Blvd. So THAT’s how they get from place-to-place.

  6. I’m wondering which of my neighbors on 13th St. N in VA Square got hit by lightning – sounded like the lightning was hitting a metal roof.

  7. Very bad weather over here in Penrose, where I’m working from home today. Lots of lightning, thunderclaps and strong wind … it’s been tapering off for the last five or so minutes though.

  8. this more than makes up for getting dissed on monday night by momma nature.
just drove thru County and most intersections are underwater.
Wilson Blvd from County Line to Four Mile Run, right lane is 6 in deep in water. THEN the parking lane.
car stalled WB Wilson at Four Mile Run.
