A plant boutique featured in the latest season of Netflix’s “Love is Blind” has announced its second location in Crystal City.
The D.C.-based shop, PLNTR — whose Dupont Circle location hosted the now-separated reality TV couple Monica Davis and Stephen Richardson — offers plant retail and a host of green thumb activities.
PLNTR appears in Season 7, Episode 8
- The shop set the scene for Davis and Richardson’s date at a pressed flower workshop.
- Wildry, one of the PLNTR’s floral art partners, guided the couple through crafting.
- PLNTR hopes to host similar workshops in Crystal City, with topics ranging from terrariums to mounted orchids, co-owner Caitlin Tuttle told ARLnow.

- The forthcoming location at 269 19th Court S. will include house plants, tools, planters, dried flowers, home goods and a kombucha bar, according to a release.
- PLNTR also designs, installs and maintains live and artificial plants for homes and offices.
Retail neighbors are on the way
- The shop plans to open on the ground floor of The Grace apartments, around the corner from Flight Wine Shop and Bar Colline, both expected in early 2025.
- Several businesses have opened at The Grace and Reva in the past few months, with more to come this year.
