‘Little Tiger Dumplings,’ offering Northern Chinese cuisine, debuts in Rosslyn this weekend

A new Chinese restaurant will celebrate its grand opening in Rosslyn amid Lunar New Year celebrations this weekend.

Little Tiger Dumplings, offering Northern Chinese cuisine and six kinds of handmade dumplings, is debuting at Upside on Moore above the Rosslyn Metro station. It replaces previous vendor Lucky Danger.

The grand opening is this Saturday

  • Little Tiger Dumplings will open in tandem with the food hall’s Lunar New Year Party. Chinese fusion dishes will be offered at each vendor during the occasion.
  • Festivities include a free yoga class and an all-day happy hour starting at 11 a.m.
  • A traditional lion dance performance is scheduled for 5:30 p.m., and “a DMV creatives night market” will run from 5-9 p.m.

The restaurant has a sibling in Clarendon

  • Led by chef Leopold Liao, the restaurant comes from the same team behind Tiger Dumplings in Clarendon.
  • Signature dumplings are filled with pork belly, baby shrimp, ginger, Asian chives and scallions. Other varieties include lamb carrot and veggie lover.
  • The Rosslyn menu also features dan dan noodles, fried rice, Chengdu spicy wontons, scallion pancakes and flavored bubble tea.

The restaurant’s current hours are 11 a.m.-9 p.m., Monday through Friday at 1700 N. Moore Street.
