Serving up noodles, soup dumplings and dim sum, a D.C.-area Chinese restaurant is set to open a new location tomorrow (Wednesday) in Rosslyn.
Yu Noodles will kick off its soft opening at 11 a.m. at 1515 Wilson Blvd, where Tom Yum District closed in 2021, co-owner Tea Shao told ARLnow.
It offers over a dozen noodle dishes
- They’re served hot and cold with meats including Sichuan beef, pork chops and flounder, and flavored with ingredients like scallion, sesame and Worcestershire sauce.
- The restaurant is known for its spicy, house-made Chongqing noodles. At $9, they’re made with chili oil and topped with a fried egg.
- Yu Noodles also serves four kinds of $10 soup dumplings, including a spicy peppercorn variety, as well as $12 steamed dumplings with pork and chicken.
This is Yu’s eighth D.C.-area spot
- Yu’s new location will offer carryout and has seating for 42 guests inside.
- The restaurant has other locations in Fairfax, Herndon and McLean, as well as Silver Spring and Baltimore.
- Co-owners Shao and Cody Zhou also own and operate Ocean Shack, a seafood and sports bar in Waverly Hills.
Yu Noodles will be open daily in Rosslyn from 11 a.m.-9:30 p.m.
