Five Guys opens at Reagan National, two other restaurants coming soon

A new Five Guys has arrived at Reagan National Airport, and two other dining options are opening there soon.

The burger joint is located near gate D35, and the forthcoming restaurants are Makers Union and Wiseguy Pizza, the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority announced today.

Planned restaurants are in concourse C

  • American gastropub Makers Union plans to fill nearly 2,500 square feet in concourse C. Wiseguy, meanwhile, will occupy a smaller “quick serve” station.
  • Also new to DCA is Johnston & Murphy, a footwear and apparel retailer expected to join the National Hall area near concourse C.
  • Estimated opening dates are not yet available, as “construction timelines are very fluid,” an MWAA representative told ARLnow.

National Hall has other new arrivals

  • Eastern Market, a spinoff of the popular D.C. marketplace, is now open near C gates in National Hall.
  • Other nearby openings include Solid State Books, luggage retailer Tumi and the airport’s second Half Moon Empanadas kiosk.
  • At least one National Hall vendor, Chick-fil-A, has temporarily closed due to the DCA Reimagined renovation project.

More vendors are in the works

  • A map of “in development” retailers and concessions options places a new Busboys & Poets in concourse D.
  • Colada Shop, Mi Vida and Starbucks all also appear to be planning openings.
