All-day cafe from Michelin-starred chef coming to Rosslyn

A cafe from the team behind Sfoglina is opening in Rosslyn, in the same office building as the Italian restaurant.

Signage for the all-day cafe by Michelin-starred chef Fabio Trabocchi, first reported by the Washington Business Journal, has appeared in the lobby at The Towers at 1100 Wilson Blvd.

“We can confirm that we are opening a cafe in Rosslyn, but we do not have many details beyond that as we are in very early planning stages,” Fabio Trabocchi Restaurants spokesperson Sarah Bengtson told ARLnow.

The restaurant group plans to share more details on the cafe, which is anticipated to open later this year, at a future date.

“Something new is brewing,” signage reads.

The cafe is a new direction for Trabocchi, whose other restaurants — which include Del Mar and Fiola Mare in D.C., in addition to Sfoglina — are full-service. Sfoglina’s Rosslyn location opened in 2019.

This wouldn’t be the first time the 2,200-square-foot space has been home to a cafe. ARHA Cafe previously operated in the space.
