Two fast-casual restaurants have opened at the Fashion Centre at Pentagon City, after months of delays.
Contemporary Indian eatery Bowl’d Masala and Mezeh Mediterranean Grill are both now open, according to a press release.
Bowl’d Masala offers customizable bowls featuring chicken tikka, paneer, lentils, rice and house-made sauces. Mezeh serves bowls, wraps and pitas with options for vegan, gluten-free and high-protein diets.
Mezeh first announced that is was coming to the mall in 2023. This is the Mediterranean chain’s fourth Arlington location, joining outposts in Ballston, Crystal City and at Reagan National Airport.
Both restaurants were previously expected to open last August.
“Bowl’d Masala and Mezeh Mediterranean Grill not only bring new energy to the center but also expand the depth and diversity of our dining experience for guests seeking something fresh, flavorful and globally inspired,” said Wes Mehr, the mall’s general manager.
The openings add to the mall’s “dynamic international dining lineup,” which already includes Amorino Gelato, Dumpling District, Pollo Campero, Sakina’s Grill and Möge Tee. A sushi restaurant called Takumi Tamashi is also expected to open soon, we’re told.
