The Onelife Fitness in Ballston Quarter celebrated an expansion into the mall’s second floor with a ribbon-cutting and other festivities yesterday (Wednesday).
The fitness center, whose entrance is on the third floor of the mall at 4238 Wilson Blvd, marked the addition of 12,000 square feet to its space — roughly doubling the gym’s square footage dedicated to turf and strength training.
It was a $2 million project
- Onelife’s expansion, first announced in April 2025, brings another floor of gym equipment attached to the first by a flight of stairs.
- It also includes new recovery facilities, with two new red light therapy studios along with a new compression therapy space using Normatec technology.
- “We provide an incredible service to the community, and we’re rewarded with members who love being here,” CEO Ori Gorfine told ARLnow. “We need more space, and that’s what spurred this.”
Leaders celebrate fitness in Arlington
- Arlington Chamber of Commerce President Kate Bates presented Onelife with a plaque honoring the investment.
- “This tangible investment in Arlington as a place [helps] our community stay one of the fittest places in America,” Bates said. “It would not be possible without amazing establishments like yours.”
- Ballston’s Onelife Fitness is open from 5 a.m.-10 p.m. Monday through Thursday, from 5 a.m.-9 p.m. on Friday, from 7 a.m.-7 p.m. on Saturday and from 8 a.m.-6 p.m. on Sunday.
