The wreck happened on northbound I-395, approaching the Pentagon, just after 12:30 a.m.
Police say Julio Cesar Marcia Castro, a 27-year-old Maryland resident, crashed into a police SUV that was pulled over on an unrelated traffic stop. Luckily, no one was inside the police vehicle at the time of the crash.
A drunk woman stole a car in Crystal City but then crashed it three blocks down the road, police say.
The incident happened around 11 a.m. on Sunday. It started, police say, when a woman “entered an unoccupied but running vehicle” on the 2200 block of S. Clark Street.
The incident happened shortly before 1 p.m. Friday on the 1200 block of S. Hayes Street, near the Pentagon City mall.
“Following a verbal dispute between two parties over parking, a male subject allegedly exposed his genitals to a male victim,” according to an Arlington County Police Department crime report.
The incident happened just before 3:30 a.m. Saturday, on the 3200 block of Wilson Blvd.
Police say 24-year-old Christian Taylor, of New Carrollton, forced entry into a restaurant and struck an employee in the face as part of a burglary. Police were called and arrived while the man was still inside the business.
(Updated at 4:10 p.m. on 12/23/21) Two men armed with guns tried to rob a jewelry store in Lyon Park last night, according to police, but wound up empty-handed and in jail.
Police say Jorgito [Redacted], 37, of Alexandria and Alexander [Redacted], 21, of Puerto Rico tried to rob Sacramento Jewelers on the 2700 block of Washington Blvd just before 5:45 pm.

Willbrod Frank [Redacted], 42, is accused of using a friend’s credit cards after stealing them from her home near Columbia Pike.
(Updated at 12:45 p.m.) The northbound lanes of I-395 are partially blocked just past Glebe Road, approaching the Pentagon, after a police chase ended in the middle of the highway.
Initial reports suggest the car was being chased for an assault on law enforcement, possibly as a result of the car ramming a Fairfax County Police cruiser.
The incident happened late Monday night into early Tuesday morning, in the Barcroft neighborhood near Columbia Pike.
Police say the man and the woman knew each other.
Police say the officer noticed stolen items in plain sight in the car after pulling it over on the 2300 block of S. Kenmore Street, in the Nauck neighborhood, early Wednesday morning.
The three suspects are facing multiple charges for credit card theft and “trespass of a vehicle.”
The Arlington County Police Department issued 20 citations and made one arrest during its pedestrian safety enforcement detail on Columbia Pike this morning.
The enforcement was conducted on the Pike at S. Oakland Street from about 10 a.m. to noon.
