There was also some incidental contact between the man and the boy, Sternbeck said.

One incident happened around 3:50 p.m. on Saturday, June 2, on the 2700 block of S. Lang Street in the Long Branch Creek neighborhood, where spectators had gathered to watch a soccer game. One of the attendees was an intoxicated male, who allegedly made inappropriate comments to a female victim in the presence of her daughter. The woman says the man proceeded to urinate with his back to her, then turned around to expose himself to her and her daughter.

The woman called police and they were able to locate 45-year-old Saul Aparicio, of no fixed address, in the vicinity. He was arrested and charged with indecent exposure and being drunk in public. It appears he targeted the woman and her daughter, and didn’t expose himself to others at the soccer game.

News

Arlington’s month-long streak of men seen performing lewd acts in public places continued this past weekend.

On Sunday, the loss prevention manager of a pharmacy on Columbia Pike spotted a young man masturbating in the store’s perfume aisle, according to Arlington County Police spokesman Dustin Sternbeck.

News

An officer was driving by the store around 4:40 a.m. when he saw Nathanael Lovett, 28, performing the lewd act in plain view of potential passersby, according to police. The police report does not note whether anybody other than officer witnessed the act.

Lovett, who police say was recently released from jail in D.C., was charged with indecent exposure and held without bail. Public records show Lovett’s most recent address was an apartment in Northeast D.C. He does not match the description of a suspect seen masturbating along the W&OD Trail last week, according to Arlington County Police spokesman Dustin Sternbeck.
