More than 240 restaurants around the region will be offering special deals on meals. During restaurant week, participating eateries will be offering fixed price dining options — $20.13 for lunch and $35.13 for dinner. Some restaurants will offer special prix fixe menues for Restaurant Week, while others will offer their entire menu.

Sixteen Shirlington restaurants will be offering three-course dinners for $25. Most of the restaurants will also be offering a two-course lunch for $12. In addition to the food deals, there will be a number of unadvertised drink specials.
The eateries participating in Shirlington Restaurant Week are:
Dogma Bakery (2772 S. Arlington Mill Drive) is offering a three-course meal for dogs as part of Restaurant Week. The meal consists of a house-made “gar-lick cheese bite” appetizer; a main course of fish, chicken, beef or venison kibble, with a side of vegetables; and a dog ice cream, cookie or muffin dessert.
The meal is available for dine-in or take-out. Owners choosing the sit-down option are invited to order human food from The Bungalow and dine with their dogs.
Prices are considerably lower than neighboring cities’ restaurant weeks. Lunch includes two courses for $15 and dinner includes three courses for $25.
The following restaurants have listed their menus for the event, which runs from Monday, October 10, through next Sunday, October 16: Aladdin’s Eatery, Aroma Indian Cuisine, Bistro Bistro, Bonsai Grill, The Bungalow, Busboys & Poets, Capitol City Brewing Company, Dogma Bakery & Boutique, Extra Virgin Modern Italian Cuisine, Johnny Rockets, Luna Grill & Diner, PING and Samuel Beckett’s Irish Gastro Pub.
DC Restaurant Week is underway, and a number of Arlington restaurants are getting in on the action.
From now until Sunday, participating restaurants will be offering a three-course fixed-price lunch for $20.11 and a three-course fixed-price dinner for $35.11.
A Drier Night At the Fair — The Arlington County Fair shut down early last night thanks to the rain. With any luck the rain will hold tonight so fair-goers can enjoy the rides and the concessions without an umbrella. If all else fails, however, the indoor exhibits will be open tonight.
