The newly opened 2910 Kitchen & Bar on Columbia Pike is temporarily closed for renovations, its owner says.

However, the owner of the elevated American eatery, Raheel “Ray” Khan, told ARLnow he expects the restaurant to reopen soon.

“We will open back up end of this month,” he said in a text message.

The space at 2910 Columbia Pike, previously home to P. Brennan’s Irish Pub until it closed in 2017, was taken over by Khan in 2023.

The restaurant initially planned for a summer 2023 opening but faced setbacks, including permitting and staffing challenges, delaying the launch by nearly a year.

The two-level, art-deco inspired restaurant underwent extensive renovations before officially opening in May.

Khan did not respond to a request for more details on the current renovations or what they entail.
