Heads up: Metro disruptions for Rosslyn and the Blue Line this weekend

Metro stations in Rosslyn and Arlington National Cemetery will be closed this weekend, and the Blue Line won’t be operating in much of National Landing.

Free shuttle services will be available during the disruptions on Saturday and Sunday. Blue Line closures will be in effect for Crystal City, Pentagon City and the Pentagon, according to a transit alert.

A shuttle will run between Foggy Bottom, Rosslyn, Arlington National Cemetery and the Pentagon, according to a map of planned changes. Another will run between Foggy Bottom, Rosslyn and Courthouse.

Express service shuttles will operate between Courthouse and the Pentagon from 8 a.m.-9 p.m. only and between Foggy Bottom and Courthouse during regular Metrorail operating hours, according to WMATA.

Yellow Line stops at Crystal City, Pentagon City and the Pentagon will still be operational.

“Crews will be working to replace fasteners and anchors as well as performing maintenance on the third rail and rail renewal to ensure reliability,” the transit agency said.

Crews were performing work on the Orange and Silver lines earlier this month.
