Arlington’s third Maman cafe is opening in Pentagon City tomorrow with giveaways for its first customers.
The French-inspired bakery and cafe is hosting a grand opening on the ground floor of Amazon HQ2 (1450 S. Eads Street), where Mae’s Market and Cafe closed last year. Starting at 8 a.m, the first 100 customers will receive a free tote bag and cookie with purchase.
Then, from 1-3 p.m., festivities include mini bouquets for sale and a “charm bar” by D.C.-area boutique Dov & Company. The first 50 guests to make a purchase of $15 or more will receive a free croissant charm.
This is Maman’s third Arlington location, alongside a cafe in Courthouse that opened in 2025 and a new Ballston location that opened last month at 4300 Wilson Blvd. The New York City-based chain has a total of 12 locations throughout the D.C. area.
The Pentagon City spot is expected to offer the brand’s full menu of espresso and tea, cold-pressed juice, homemade pastries and a made-to-order savory menu, as well as gluten-free and vegan items, according to a press release.
The revamped 2,256-square-foot space will feature the brand’s signature white-and-blue interior inspired by the South of France, accented with floral installations by Floratorium.
The new cafe will be in company with several other restaurants in the Metropolitan Park area, including Makers Union, Taqueria Xochi and Peruvian Brothers.
Maman’s Pentagon City hours will be 7:30 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 8 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
