The man, who had been drinking, entered through a locked door and “did not comply” with a resident’s request that he leave, according to this week’s Arlington County Police Department crime report.

The Arlington County Police Department is seeking information on a man suspected for robbing a bank in Westover last month.
Police said the man entered a branch of Wells Fargo at 1701 N. McKinley Road just before 3:30 p.m. on December 22 and handed the teller a note demanding money. He then fled on foot after the teller complied.

Nothing was reported stolen during the hold up, which happened around 7:45 p.m.

(Updated at 4:45 p.m.) The Wells Fargo bank in the Westover neighborhood was robbed Friday afternoon.
A man robbed the bank by passing a note to a teller shortly before 3:30 p.m., we hear. Arlington County Police are currently on the scene investigating. No injuries were reported.

The driver apparently became enraged when another driver did not get out of her way fast enough, prompting more aggressive driving and the tossing of cups and bottles.

Police said the man was spotted loitering in a parking garage on the 3000 block of S. Randolph Street about two hours before the assault on November 2.
Police responded to the area of S. Randolph Street at 31st Street S. at approximately 10:41 p.m. that night for the report of a rape.

Police are now investigating the thefts, which happened during the key holiday shopping season.

Arlington County Police are still investigating a drive-by shooting in the Nauck neighborhood this past Sunday night.
Three male suspects in a dark van or SUV opened fire on a group of four juvenile near the intersection of 24th Street S. and Shirlington Road around 8:15 p.m., according to police. A resident who lives nearby emailed ARLnow.com and described a chaotic scene.
