The sushi and Thai food restaurant in Cherrydale at 3813 Langston Blvd has once again changed hands.

Now renamed Siam Miyaki, this represents the eatery’s fifth change in ownership in four years. Arlington residents Onin Saleerum and Isara “Ming” Tawkrue have taken over the lease from May Ditnoy, the previous owner of Siam Shinzo, which was previously known as Tuna Restaurant.

Chefs from ChiKo and Taco Bamba will battle in a “fried faceoff” to determine whose oversized eggroll reigns supreme. The event, dubbed “Meat in the Street,” will be held at The Village at Shirlington during the day on Sunday, June 9.

A pair of reported armed robberies added to a busy Wednesday for Arlington County police.

The first happened shortly before 2:30 p.m. at the McDonald’s near the Rosslyn Metro station. Initial reports suggest that a woman armed with a pink gun demanded a burger.

Police say someone placed cameras in two first floor restrooms, facing the toilets, at the popular Clarendon cafe’s Falls Church outpost, which opened in 2018 at 205 Park Avenue.
