With the holidays over and the new year settling in, many of us are shifting back into work or keeping up with resolutions. Staying inside might be tempting this time of year — especially with temperatures dipping into single digits this week — but there are still good reasons to get out and about in Arlington.
Valentine’s Day, Super Bowl LIX and Lunar New Year are all on the horizon, inviting opportunities to try a new restaurant, go out with friends or treat loved ones to a nice meal. Even the arrival of D.C. pandas can be celebrated with treats…

- Panda Pastries: Celebrate the National Zoo’s new pandas with a sweet treat in Shirlington, starting this Friday, Jan. 24.
- Winter Restaurant Week, Coming Soon: The Restaurant Association Metropolitan Washington’s biannual Restaurant Week starts Monday, Jan. 27. Now might be a good time to book reservations, if you haven’t already.
- DCA’s latest dining additions: Planning on some travels in 2025? If you find yourself at Reagan National Airport this year, keep an eye out for these new restaurants.
