A second Toastique is underway in Arlington.
The D.C.-born gourmet toast and juice franchise is making its way to National Landing, the company confirmed with ARLnow. It’s unclear at this point where exactly the cafe will open, or even whether it will open in Crystal City or Pentagon City.
With an emphasis on healthy eating, Toastique serves hearty, picturesque toast and colorful, plant-based breakfasts.
Expect an opening later this spring or summer
- “We are still in the early stages and don’t have an exact timeline yet or specific details to share,” a Toastique representative wrote in an email.
- Toastique’s first Arlington location opened in Clarendon this past September. Other nearby locations include Old Town Alexandria and D.C.
- Brianna Keefe founded the expanding franchise in 2018. At least 24 locations are expected to open in 2025, joining over 30 Toastiques nationwide.
Signature toasts are savory and sweet
- Thick slices of bread are loaded with toppings like smoked salmon, arugula, herbed ricotta and prosciutto. An order of toast costs between $11-$16 in Clarendon.
- The PB Crunch, a sweet option, is loaded with bananas, berries, peanut butter, granola and honey.
- The franchise also offers fruit-filled options like acai bowls and smoothies, in addition to fresh juices and collagen-infused lattes.
