The Chick-fil-A at 2200 Crystal Drive is slated to hold a pre-Valentine’s Day “Daddy-Daughter Princess Night” on Monday, Feb. 13, at 4 p.m. The event is an annual sit-down meal held at Chick-fil-A restaurants across the country.

“We know how important it is to have special moments with your princess and we want to help make this pre-Valentines day one of those special moments,” the Arlington location said on its website. “Let us help make this a lifetime memory.”

CEB Being Acquired — Arlington-based CEB Inc., one of the county’s biggest private employers, is being acquired by Connecticut-based Gartner in a $2.6 billion cash-and-stock deal. Around Town

The Wendy’s in Courthouse has finally closed its doors to make way for a new 12-story office building.

Signs were posted in the windows at the fast food restaurant today saying that it has closed. The signs direct customers to the nearest Wendy’s, located three miles away at 5066 Lee Highway.


Events

The fast-food restaurant — with locations at 2200 Crystal Drive in Crystal City, in the Ballston Common Mall and at 6108 Arlington Blvd just over the border in Falls Church — will host a sit-down meal for fathers bringing their daughters from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m.

Customers must make reservations online before Sunday, Oct. 13 to participate. Chick-fil-A will offer tableside service, and will distribute tray liners that list “conversation starters” for the father and daughter, as well as a take-home booklet called “Continuing the Conversation,” according to a Chick-fil-A press release.
