Fake Arlington News — “Blast News 365… reported on the case of Roberta Clemons, a 77-year-old Arlington woman ‘who neighbors described as everyone’s grandma.’ She had been found shot to death in her car. Officials were said to have charged an 18-year-old man in the killing.  But the Arlington County Police Department again confirmed it does not have ‘reports of a fatal shooting of an individual named Roberta Clemons.'” [NBC News]

Clement Is Running Again — “Audrey Clement is ready to roll for her latest bid for Arlington elected office. Clement, an independent (and one-time Green Party contender), has been running for local posts – mostly County Board but on two occasions School Board – continuously since 2011. One of Arlington’s more prolific restaurateurs has opened an eatery that promises “old-school” Italian cuisine.

Chef Mike Cordero celebrated the grand opening of Carbonara: Old School Italian & Wine Bar — at 3865 Wilson Blvd in Virginia Square — on Monday. The opening festivities continued Wednesday evening with a private dinner party for invited guests.

Get ready for a hint of chlorine in your tap water beginning next week.

Starting this coming Monday, March 25, and continuing until May 6, the Washington Aqueduct, the main water source for Arlington, D.C., and parts of Fairfax County, will temporarily change its disinfectant from chloramine to chlorine.

A man reportedly shot a boy in the face with a water bead gun after he got off a school bus in Pentagon City.

The incident happened around 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, near the Westpost shopping center on S. Joyce Street, and prompted a police investigation.
