Panda Tea House is set to open at the former site of Kokee Tea in the Fashion Centre at Pentagon City mall.
An employee for Kokee Tea told ARLnow that spot closed in the food court at 1100 S. Hayes Street, but was not able to say exactly when it closed.
Harry’s Smokehouse, a burgers and BBQ restaurant, has now shut its doors in the Pentagon City mall.
Signs posted at the eatery, located near the Fashion Centre at Pentagon City’s Metro entrance, indicate that it’s now permanently closed.

As the busiest shopping season of the year draws near, the Pentagon City mall is adding five new stores.
The Fashion Centre at Pentagon City announced Thursday (Nov. 15) that it would be welcoming the new retailers, with some opening right away and others rolling out in the coming weeks.
Arlington Gets a New Fire Chief — David Povlitz won the job as the county’s new fire department chief, after James Bonzano retired this summer. Povlitz currently works as an assistant chief in Alexandria, and spent 22 years in Anne Arundel, Maryland’s fire department. [Arlington County]

County police say the men walked into a store at the Fashion Centre at Pentagon City (1100 S. Hayes Street) “selected multiple pieces of merchandise, concealed them on their persons and exited the store.”
When police saw one of the men leaving the mall, they say “ignored commands by officers to stop and a brief foot pursuit ensued before he was taken into custody without incident.” Officers later found the second man inside the Pentagon City Metro station, and arrested him.
Yong Kang Street, a long awaited dumpling and noodle restaurant, is open for business in the Fashion Centre at Pentagon City mall.
The restaurant features a mix of flavors from Taiwan, Hong Kong and China. The restaurant is named after a street in Taiwan famous for its restaurants and street food.
Tutti Spa & Nails will open up shop in the Fashion Centre at Pentagon City Sept. 4, according to the mall’s website.
The company’s services include manicures, pedicures, facials and a variety of spa packages.
Lifestyle brand Roots Canada will open up shop in a 3,200 square foot space within the Fashion Centre at Pentagon City next Friday (Aug. 10).
Though a display in front of the forthcoming store, pictured above, advertises Roots as coming Aug. 11, a recent press release from the company, Fashion Centre at Pentagon City’s website and ads in the Pentagon City Metro all set the opening date as Aug. 10.
Arlington police are searching for two men who they believe attacked their rideshare driver in an Aurora Highlands neighborhood.
Police say the confrontation began yesterday afternoon (Tuesday) around the 700 block of 15th Street S., near the Fashion Centre at Pentagon City, when the driver got into an argument with three passengers about where to drop them off.
(Updated at 2:15 p.m.) The Fashion Centre at Pentagon City mall and Shake Shack will host live music performances outside the restaurant from 7-9 p.m. every Thursday in June.
Events in the series, called “Shack Sounds,” are free and open to the public near the mall’s S. Hayes Street entrance.
