A family-friendly pizza restaurant in Falls Church is shooting to open in a few months, following some delays.

After announcing plans in December 2024 to open at 119 E. Broad Street, Little Beast Cafe & Bistro — known for its storybook-style decor and Detroit-style pizza — has reset its timeline to open in February or March, owner Aaron Gordon told ARLnow.

Changes are coming to a longtime pizzeria and American restaurant in Courthouse.

The family that had owned Fire Works Pizza since 2010 is departing, having passed the torch to local restaurateur Fitzgerald Lewis earlier this month. Father Dama Pizza is preparing to open at 1499 Columbia Pike, next door to Dama Restaurant and Cafe, co-founder Hailu Dama told ARLnow. The Dama family has led Ethiopian restaurants in the D.C. area since the 1980s.

The only Domino’s in Falls Church will soon relocate to a shuttered bike shop, possibly making way for another pizzeria to set up shop.

The Domino’s, currently located in a strip mall at 1106 W. Broad Street, plans to move to 438 S. Washington Street in mid-November, operations manager Himel Uddin told ARLnow.
