Bees & Tea by Asia Bistro is getting ready to become a standalone cafe at Westpost in Pentagon City.

The “tea bar” located inside Asia Bistro at 1301 S. Joyce Street requested a license to serve beer and wine in May, owner Jessica Arbaugh tells ARLnow. She expects the license to be approved by August or September.

Change appears to be coming to the Clarendon building housing music venue B Live and rooftop bar Coco B’s.

The property at 2854 Wilson Blvd, built in 1951 and formerly home to longtime local bar Whitlow’s, has been listed for sale or lease online. A brochure says the first floor and rooftop space, totalling nearly 8,000 square feet, “can be leased separately or together.”

A third Tortas y Tacos la Chiquita is set to open next week in Virginia Square.

Restaurant Owner David Villalobos said the menu at Tortas y Tacos la Chiquita III on 3811 Fairfax Drive will be a “copy and paste” of other Tortas y Tacos locations on Columbia Pike and in Merrifield.

An Indian restaurant operating out of John Lyon VFW Post 3150 in Colonial Village has abruptly left the space.

A sign on the door of the post said that Sundara Indian Restaurant & Cafe is moving to a new spot at 1320 Braddock Place, near the Braddock Road Metro station, in Alexandria.

Live entertainment is coming to two new additions to Clarendon’s bar and restaurant scene, despite some resident concerns about code enforcement in the neighborhood.

The Arlington County Board voted 4-0 on Tuesday to accept use permit applications at Láylí Mediterranean and Mister Days, with several Board members expressing enthusiasm about Láylí’s arrival and Mister Days’ return.

The sushi and Thai food restaurant in Cherrydale at 3813 Langston Blvd has once again changed hands.

Now renamed Siam Miyaki, this represents the eatery’s fifth change in ownership in four years. Arlington residents Onin Saleerum and Isara “Ming” Tawkrue have taken over the lease from May Ditnoy, the previous owner of Siam Shinzo, which was previously known as Tuna Restaurant.

A South American restaurant on Columbia Pike has asked for county approval to implement outdoor dining.

Café Sazón would use a few privately-owned parking spaces in front of its storefront to permanently accommodate a patio area, according to an Arlington County Board report.

Fort Myer’s new dining facility held its grand opening on Wednesday after three years of renovations, providing a modernized place to eat for more than 4,000 active duty and Department of Defense civilians on base.
