Feast & Fettle will begin working with customers in and around Arlington starting on Jan. 3, selling a rotating list of entrees, plus sides and options for kids.

Kilwins, located on the ground floor of The Hartford Building at 3101 Wilson Blvd, opened for business on Friday. Joining other locations in D.C. and Alexandria, it offers an array of chocolates, ice cream and other classic treats.

A local chain of food carts offering halal cuisine has expanded to Ballston.

Tasty Treat parked another cart outside Ballston Quarter last month, bringing a new, locally owned fast casual option to the neighborhood. Located on the Wilson Blvd side of 850 N. Randolph Street, this is the business’s third spot in Arlington, joining others in Rosslyn and Crystal City.

A French-inspired bakery is hosting its grand opening in Falls Church this weekend.

Paris Baguette has announced plans to begin serving customers at 169 Hillwood Avenue starting at 6 a.m. on Saturday, offering free giveaways to go with its wide menu of baked goods and other breakfast and lunch items.

Another trampoline park chain is seeking to open a location in Arlington.

Urban Air Adventure Park has announced plans to open somewhere in the county, though “they don’t have a specific site locked down yet,” a spokesperson told ARLnow. Meanwhile, another company, SkyZone, is still looking for a place to open a local trampoline park after announcing similar plans in March 2024.

A new spray tanning studio is hoping to bring a spritz of the islands to Clarendon.

Maui Glow Club opened its doors last week, offering “a glow so natural it looks like a vacation” above the Starbucks at 2690 Clarendon Blvd. This is the brand’s second location, following one that opened in Vienna in March.

Life Alive Cafe intends to open on Wednesday, Nov. 12 at 818 N. Quincy Street, filling a retail bay that held Bruegger’s Bagels until April 2023.

A new party supply store is planning to open in a vacant Columbia Pike storefront where a family-owned rug shop closed last year.

New signs have appeared for Tysons-based Party Mania at 2330 Columbia Pike, which has been empty since the rug retailer Manoukian Brothers Oriental Rugs relocated to Langston Blvd.

Timberland has opened a new store at the mall in Pentagon City, joining a lineup of recent and upcoming additions at the shopping center.

The shop opened last weekend on the mall’s second level with a “a full assortment of footwear, outerwear and accessories for men, women and kids,” including the brand’s popular leather boots. The opening comes as the Fashion Centre at Pentagon City is expected to welcome several new businesses over the next few months.
