Four Virginia men are facing drug and other charges after a verbal dispute between one of the men and a woman in Arlington.
The incident happened Thursday evening in the Green Valley neighborhood. Police were called after the man “allegedly lifted his shirt, exposing what appeared to be a firearm and made threatening statements.”
Several projects approved in Arlington’s inaugural round of historic preservation grants may need some more time to wrap up.
The Arlington County Board on Saturday will consider extending agreements with five projects that were among the first to receive county dollars last year from the Historic Preservation Fund. The Arlington County Police Department has ramped up efforts to curb public intoxication and other illegal behavior near a Green Valley elementary school.

A pair of women from D.C. are facing charges after an alleged liquor store robbery and car chase.
The robbery was reported around 2 p.m. on N. Fillmore Street in Clarendon. The chase ended around 2:30 p.m. on northbound I-395, temporarily blocking the highway.
