Expect rain mainly before 1pm, with a high temperature near 49°F. Light southeast winds will shift to southwest at 5-10 mph in the morning, and may gust up to 20 mph. There’s a 90% chance of precipitation, with new amounts between a tenth to a quarter of an inch possible. For Thursday night, it’ll be mostly cloudy with a low around 40°F. Gourmet toast franchise Toastique planning second Arlington location

A second Toastique is underway in Arlington.

The D.C.-born gourmet toast and juice franchise is making its way to National Landing, the company confirmed with ARLnow. It’s unclear at this point where exactly the cafe will open, or even whether it will open in Crystal City or Pentagon City.

Filipino breakfast shop Lapu Lapu is coming to Pentagon City

Lapu Lapu, a Filipino eatery offering to-go breakfast sandwiches, is expected to open this spring in Crystal City, according to the National Landing BID.

The Gaithersburg-based shop hopes to make its Northern Virginia debut at 1417 S. Fern Street by April. Named after a national hero of the Philippines, Lapu Lapu combines Filipino cuisine with American breakfast sandwiches.

The high temperature will be around 37°F with a light, variable northeast wind. Precipitation likelihood stands at 30%. On Wednesday night, expect sleet before 1am, transitioning to freezing rain and sleet until 4am, then either rain or freezing rain afterwards. The low temperature will be near 32°F with a southeast wind at 6 mph. The chance of precipitation is 100%, with potential ice accumulation under 0.1 inches and sleet accumulation under 0.5 inches. Locally acclaimed sandwich shop Grazie Grazie is coming to Ballston

A D.C.-based Italian sandwich shop and deli is making its way across the Potomac to Ballston.

Grazie Grazie is preparing to open across from Hawkers Asian Street Food at 4201 Wilson Blvd. It will be the business’s third location and first shop outside D.C.

    A French cafe and creperie with a vintage aesthetic may be opening soon in Falls Church.

    The Little Falls Cafe is a new concept by Enzo Algarme and Anastasiya Laufenberg, the founders of Pupatella, an acclaimed Arlington-based pizzeria.  The team aims for a spring opening.
